Honor & Purpose Story
Hello, I’m Dan and I understand exactly how you feel. In 2021, I had the “transition talk” with my wife & a few close friends. We knew we wanted to move to Central Florida following my planned 2022 retirement but the many unknowns nearly crippled my progress.
In 2022, I began my self-transformation journey without much of a roadmap. However, the actions I took led to being hired into a Fortune 100 company where I was soon selected to facilitate leadership development for future executives within a year of starting.
Since then, I have had the privilege of helping administer one of my companies veteran programs. I’ve spoken with 100’s of soon to be veterans and began noticing the same themes in nearly every discussion.
That’s what sparked this idea to create Honor & Purpose. If there was a way to take my 1:1 conversations and scale them to a much larger group, I know there would be benefit. I don’t have all the answers and I know I’m not an expert, but collectively we can drive a constructive conversation, create a community, and be a resource for many others that follow. I’m glad to have you here and I can’t wait to see where we all take this!
Invest the time and start preparing as early as possible for life after the military.
